Literature as a thing of beauty cleans our evil feelings, sadistic attitudes. Educationalist Gurudev Rabindra Nath Tagore’s writings either in the form of poetry or in the form of prose purifies our soul, shows us right path and heightens our priorities. As teachers and responsible citizen it is our duty to show our next generation the rich heritage with that we are blessed in the form of Tagore's literature. With this spirit TAGORE MAHOTSAV was celebrated with great pomp and show in Luck now Region.
Many activities like speech, quizzes, debates along with essay-writing, book-review and power point presentations on Tagore’s stories were organized in the morning assembly and in co-curricular activities. On line think quest project provided opportunities to share with other vidyalayas and provoked mass participation.
In Lucknow Region 30 schools participated in on line competition for group-A( Essay Writing in Hindi and English).It can be regarded as good attempts and efforts. But unfortunately some work is not found up to the mark as per eligibility criteria and 23 entries in Essay Writing (English) were sent for judgment to Dr Aiman Hashmi PGT(Eng) , KV Janakpuri New Delhi .
In Essay Writing(Hindi) 13 entries were sent for judgment to Dr N. K. Daiya, PGT(Hindi) , K V No. 1 AFS , Suratgarh . Lucknow Region is highly obliged to get these two learned teachers as judges . JIGYASA CHAND of class 9th from KV Rail Parisar Gonda presented best Essay Writing (English ) in the region and NAGMA FIRDAUS of class 11th presented best Essay Writing(Hindi) .A great enthusiasm has been seen among teachers and students but some unavoidable circumstances like power failure in cities or non-availability of internet connection restricted to do their best. In all it has been a fabulous experience for all and it provided a magical opportunity to learn .

Aashish Sagar of class 8th from KV Bulandshahar presented best English book review in the region Kaushalendra Singh of class 8th presented best Hindi book review .A great enthusiasm has been seen among teachers and students but some unavoidable circumstances like power failure in cities or non-availability of internet connection restricted to do their best. In all it has been a fabulous experience for all and it provided a magical opportuity to learn .
